Senator Cádiz Spa Hotel
Central location. Senator Cadiz (part of a chain of 41) is a well run hotel right in the centre of old Cadiz. It is an old styled hotel and is relaxed. The hotel is well managed and run. The staff are competent and helpful. The breakfast buffet and hot food counter are very good, except for poor bacon. There was a prolonged problem with the link for payment. It necessitated three (expensive) phone calls to a central reservations office. Our standard room had ample space with large beds and a window onto a narrow but quiet street. The large bathroom had the shower in a bath and a bidet. Avoid rooms close to elevators or with doors to link rooms; we had noisy neighbours for two nights. There is a shortage of electric plugs close to the beds which necessitated an extension lead. The bar area is unappealing with a limited daytime menu. There is no concession for guests at the fine spa within the hotel. The small unheated rooftop swimming pool with hydro jets was refreshing. Unfortunately the pool is not supervised , allowing unruly behaviour by two children. We really enjoyed our stay.

The Reception staff were excellent especially a young lady called Ana she was exceptional. We used room service at the end of the evening food was lovely, We had an alleyway room which was comfortable would request another room if we were to stay there again. The Bar staff were polite and run off their feet with drinks orders, the hotel is central for all the new and old town which is grerat there is a few bars and restaraunts right on your doorstep. All in all the hotel is in a good area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. It boasts an elegant style and features a charming internal courtyard. Our room overlooked this courtyard, providing a pleasant view and ample natural light. We appreciated the option for a warm breakfast and didn't mind the layout where we needed to access the kitchen in another part of the restaurant. Additionally, we had the opportunity to experience the spa, which had a delightful ambiance.

Next to train, boat to Santa Maria, parking nearby with discount if you revisiter online before, central as. Near everything in short distance. Nice hôtel beds and bathroom very modern shower We got 1 free water and 1 free small cava bottle A very nice surprise for our stay Slippers and bathrobe Dvorak facilities

Sylvie

we upgraded our room and it was worth it as the superior room was large and included towels, robes and slippers for the spa as well as sparkling wine, water, fridge, tea and coffee. The spa (which was an extra cost) was well equipped with various different pools, jacuzzies, steam room and saunas.
